Multigrain Pongal Mix
Introducing Our Ayurvedic Ready-to-Cook Wellness Meals.
At Food for the Soul, LLC, every meal is a sacred offering — prepared with intention, balance, and the wisdom of Ayurveda. Our newest creations, the Diabetic Khichdi Mix and the Multi-Grain Pongal Mix, are crafted to bring harmony to your body and peace to your mind. Each blend is wholesome, high in plant-based protein, rich in fiber, and spiced with organic Ayurvedic herbs that kindle digestion and promote sustained energy throughout the day.
In Ayurveda, khichdi is more than just food — it is Aushadha Anna, food that heals. It is gentle on Agni (digestive fire), balancing for all three doshas, and deeply nourishing for tissues while detoxifying the system. Traditionally prepared with moong dal and rice or grains, khichdi becomes a complete meal — easy to digest yet strengthening. Our diabetic-friendly version uses low-glycemic grains and synergic spices like fenugreek, cumin, and turmeric to support healthy blood sugar levels, while still maintaining that comfort and warmth that makes khichdi so loved.
Our Multi-Grain Pongal Mix takes inspiration from the traditional South Indian dish, blending the goodness of millets, green gram (mung beans) and quinoa — all packed with amino acids, minerals, and dietary fiber. These grains support metabolic health, gut function, and steady glucose release. Millets and quinoa, in particular, have been scientifically shown to lower cholesterol, improve gut microbiome diversity, and enhance satiety — making them ideal for modern lifestyles.
Every mix from Food for the Soul is slow-crafted, balanced in the six Ayurvedic tastes (shad rasa), and infused with organic ghee-loving spices that awaken both flavor and prana. Each bowl invites you to return to mindful eating — food that heals, nourishes, and connects you with your inner rhythm.
